'Is that a choir?' some may ask. The Holiday Gloom For Seconds! Those slices of moments when one pauses mid-cheer and become oddly reflective, even in front of the Christmas cake.
So it visited, and I realised that I've been many things:
1. Fest reading-and-commenting slacker
2. F-list reading-and-commenting slacker
3. Triumphant internet hibernator
And the best, (4) Shameless art fangirl.
Mid-2012, when I was new and more shy than I am now, I caved in and tucked a private message to naadi. If that were in real life, it would be a hideously blushing person fumbling with a mailbox and a note which went something like: 'Hello! This is to let you know, Very Talented Artist, that I wish to be able to send you gushing notes without appearing dodgy. Also, I'm in love with your pieces.'
Of course naadi's kindness was in heaps as the talent, so I was permitted to friend away. I think there'd been blubbering with the blushing.
That was in my old account.
In this new, lucky account, I got to prompt once inhd_fanart. Single prompt got claimed! Just before the full-blown internet hibernation commenced, prompt's art posted!
Title: Please Say You'll Spend Eternity With Me, Dear
Pairing: Harry/Draco cross-over with Good Omens' Crowley/Aziraphale
Why:Two sets of my favourite people in a piece so gorgeous, so warm, and so meticulously rendered! Such a delight looking at this, and then there's head-tilting to see how the artist saw the parallels between the pairings. And! The meeting of eyes and hands in the midst of books, which makes me utterly irrational with glee. *strokes art*
It's been ages since I've checked anything remotely unrelated to uni, and I thought it would be nice to start the online New Year with some lovable art stroking. Also, cuddling. It is cold.
